Roy “Dan” Bratcher, age 76, of Sellersburg, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Roy was born on December 30, 1946, to the late Rossie and Hazel Bratcher. After Roy retired after many years at Southern Gravure he drove a School Bus for West Clark Schools where he was much loved by all the children. He was also a member of the local Freemasons Organization.
Roy was an avid sports fan. He held season tickets to all the U of L football and basketball games. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. For and foremost, Roy was a loving father to his two children Aaron and Jenny. He always made it a priority to attend any sporting or school event that they may have had.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson, Ethan Bratcher.
Roy is survived by a son, Aaron Bratcher; daughter, Jenny Bratcher; one sister, Barbara Robison; along with two nephews Chris Coomer and Stephen Coomer.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 12:00 pm with a private entombment following the service.
