Robert D. "Hutch" Hutchinson

Robert D. “Hutch” Hutchinson, 73 years of age died Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. He was born April 29, 1943 in Gahanna, Ohio to the late Winfield and Thelma Hutchinson. Hutch retired from Daramic in Corydon, Indiana, serving as a vice president and president during his 30 year career. He was a mason and volunteered his time with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Hutch lived his life by his motto, “Attitude is Everything.”

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Margaret (Lakey) Hutchinson; daughter, Stephanie Sturgeon (Scott); grandchildren, Jared Sturgeon, Kelsey Sturgeon; sister, Pat Kreager; brothers, Jerry Hutchinson (Diane), Scott Hutchinson (Jane); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday and 9:00 am to 10:00 am Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Saturday at the funeral home chapel with cremation to follow.
