Paul Herman Stevens,79, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Paul was a great and simple man. He never asked for help even if he needed it. He always did it on his own. He did everything and gave everything he could to his family, his wife and children and never asked for anything in return. If he could he would have ate bologna sandwiches and drink Pepsi’s everyday. He did eat other stuff though. His hobbies were building Lego's, model cars, and trains. He liked old muscle cars. He could tell you the difference between a 1955 to a 1957 Chevrolet and that of a 1958 and 1959. He can also tell the difference between other cars too.
He survived by his family, sister, Mary Lou Bell; wife, Elizabeth Stevens; brother-in-law, George Young; two sons, Mark Stevens and Jonathan Stevens and daughter-in-law Dezeray Stevens; two daughters, Sarah Stevens and Rebecca Adkins and son-in-law Benjamin Adkins; six grandsons, Jacob Herrick, Conner Stevens, Richard Stevens, Patrick Fowler, James William and Jacob Shaw; four granddaughters, Madeline Stevens, Annika Stevens, Jane Stevens and Joelene Shaw; two great granddaughters, Mia Herrick and Brenlee Stevens. To all the ones that I did not mention like his nephews and nieces first, second and third generation and all the cousins first, second and third too many to name.
A visitation for Paul will be held Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
