Patricia Ann Peyton

Patricia "Pat" Ann Peyton, age 83, of Georgetown, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Pat was welcomed into heaven by her husband, Robert, and her father and mother, John M. Elsler and Leona C. (Mohr) Elsler. Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. She was faithful and enjoyed attending church with her husband and family. Pat spent her career working at various schools within the Jefferson County Public School district. She was an avid animal lover especially her boy, Jake. Pat is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 49 years, Robert "Bob" Peyton; brother, John M. Elsler; and sister, Mary McGinty. Pat is survived by her daughters, Cynthia "Cindy" (Steve) Lewis, Susan (Marci) Peyton, Jane (Steve) Martin; grandchildren, Steve A. (Krista) Lewis, Jill M. (John) Kissel; her great grandchildren, Clayton R. Lewis, Benjamin T. Kissel and Emily A. Kissel; her brothers, Robert A. Elsler and Douglas W. (Vickie) Elsler; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024 at Saint Mary's Catholic Church of Lanesville at 2500 Saint Mary's Drive NE, Lanesville, Indiana with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
