Norman Anderson Harris

IN THE CARE OF
Kraft Funeral Service
Norman Anderson Harris, age 78, died on March 6, 2023, at his home in Greenville, Indiana. He was born on October 8, 1944, in Georgetown, Kentucky, and his parents were Katherine Moore and Jesse Moore.
Norman served in the military for two tours in Vietnam and Korea. He was a hero, and he earned several medals for his service. Norman enjoyed life, and he was full of energy. He approached life with a winning attitude, and this is probably why he enjoyed challenges, like casino, playing golf, and fishing.
Norman was a man of faith, who loved family, especially his wife for forty-seven years, Glenda Harris, his daughter, Robin Lee Harris (Arnold Hayes), grandchildren, cousins, and nieces and nephews. Norman was often known to slip twenties, fifties, and hundreds into the hands of those around him. All of this showed his character of generosity. He will be remembered most for his love of golf, which he shared with his grandson, Adric.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda, daughter, Robin, grandchildren, Adric and Elizabeth Kimbrough, his sister, Ellen Gipson, and hosts of nieces and nephews. His last desire concerning his life was to make this celebration beautiful.
Memorial Service Celebrating his life will be conducted at 12:30 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
