Natalie Michelle Curry, 27 years of age, died Thursday at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Natalie lost her long battle due to complications from Fanconi Anemia and Interstitial Lung Disease. Natalie made medical history when she received a cord blood transplant in Paris, France in 1989. Her passion and mission in life was to raise educational awareness of Stem Cell/ Cord Blood Preservation. She was a national spokesperson for Core Cell America where she performed speaking engagements, weekly blogs, and monthly webinars. Natalie enjoyed writing poetry, acting, movies, and travel

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Monday and after 9:00 am Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church with private entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
