Melvin G. Moore

MELVIN G. MOORE, 75, died Monday, July 21, 2014. The son of the late Harold Gilbert and Helen Dowdle Moore, Melvin was born May 27, 1939 in New Albany. He worked at The Pillsbury Company from 1981-2003 and served in the Indiana Army National Guard for 6 years. Survivors include his daughters, Amanda Beals (Eric) and Alisha Davidson (Michael); sister, Sandra Weigleb; and 5 grandchildren. Visitation will be 4:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, IN. His Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Saturday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, New Albany.
