Mary Jeannine Lincoln

MARY JEANNINE (JENKINS) LINCOLN, 76, died Sunday, January 7, 2024. The daughter of the late Carl E. and Marjorie L. (Hubler) Jenkins, Mary was born January 22, 1947 in New Albany, IN. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, a 1965 graduate of New Albany High School, and 1984 graduate of Indiana University Southeast. In 1966 Mary began working at Floyd County Bank as a receptionist & secretary. For over 30 years she continued her passion for banking, retiring as Vice President for Chase Bank. She finished her long professional career as a broker and owner of Don Lincoln Real Estate, LLC in 2015. Mary loved her family, a good book, and a nice cup of hot tea. More than anything Mary loved watching her four grandchildren do what they loved dancing, theatre, tennis and baseball. They loved knowing she was their biggest supporter. Survivors include her husband of 55 years Donald P. Lincoln; son, Matt Lincoln (Jessica), daughter Angi Van Berg (Tom), and grandchildren Allie and Joe Lincoln, Tanner and Tyler Van Berg; brothers Michael L. Jenkins (Janice), Patrick A. Jenkins (Kaye), Mark S. Jenkins and Robert J. Jenkins; as well as many loved nieces, nephews, and their families. Visitation will be Friday, January 12th, 2024 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be January 13th, 2024 at 11:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church.
