Marcus Edward Babbs II, 44, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 at St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. He was born on May 10, 1978 in Louisville, Kentucky to Marcus Babbs Sr. and Barbara Geralds. He was a Union Electrician and a veteran of the United States Army. He attended Southeast Christian Church where he enjoyed the fellowship at the man challenges.
Marcus is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Melvin and Carolyn Babbs; maternal grandmother, Mary Johnson; paternal great grandmother, Sally Gosline; and an uncle, Sean Babbs.
Marcus is survived by his father, Retired United States Army SFC Marcus (DeAnna) Babbs Sr.; mother, Barbara Geralds; paternal grandfather, Green Johnson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation for Marcus will be held Friday, February 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
