Lois Mae Mansmann

Lois Mae (Miller) Mansmann, passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 89. She was born on July 28, 1935, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to James and Catherine Ebeling Miller. She was the third of eight siblings. Of those, she is survived by her youngest brother George (Butch) Miller. She was married to Don Mansmann for 59 years. They had four children. Barbara Mansmann, preceded her in death. Patti (Chuck) Freiberger resides in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. Doug (Bart) Mansmann lives in Louisville, Kentucky. Don (Becky) Mansmann resides in Cincinnati. Lois is also survived by six grandchildren: Katey (Mike) Bizzell of Charlestown, Indiana, Kelly Freiberger of Indianapolis, Abby and Molly Mansmann of Louisville, and Jay (Lucy) Mansmann and Erin (Cody) Sheets, of Cincinnati. She had one Great Grandchild, Iris Mansmann. In addition to Pittsburgh, Lois lived in Cumberland, Maryland: Columbus, Ohio; Sellersburg, New Albany and Jeffersonville, Indiana; and The Villages, Florida. After Don passed away, she moved to Floyds Knobs, Indiana, to be closer to family. During her active years Lois enjoyed bowling, golf, gardening, reading, quilting and travel. Of course, she always enjoyed time with her family. A memorial visitation for Lois will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a funeral mass to begin at 1:00 PM at St Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, 3011 Martin Road, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119.
