Linda S. Loesch, age 72, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023. She was born February 22, 1951 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Howard and Neva Stiller. Linda graduated from Providence High School in 1969 and was an administrative assistant for Ohio Valley Exchange Region, Jacobi Sodding, and Michell, Timperman, and Ritz. She was a former member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and current member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church. Linda loved boating, cooking, playing euchre, and was an avid sports fan of IU basketball and Notre Dame football. Linda hosted Thanksgiving dinner for her entire extended family for 26 years. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Howard Stiller and Priscilla Lausterer.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, John Loesch; sons, Aaron Loesch (Kimberly), Andrew Loesch (Angela); siblings, Marguerite Hartlage (John), Janet Grantz (Ronnie), Jim Stiller (Patsy), Michelle Mires (Jeff); grandchildren, Chase, Addison, Callie, and Aiden.
A reception of family and friends for Linda will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150. A Memorial Mass will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, 5719 St. Mary's Road, Floyds Knobs, Indiana 47119.
The family requests contributions in memory of Linda be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Wounded Warriors Project.
