Larry J. Potter

LARRY J. POTTER, 76, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013. The son of the late James C. and Ruth (Newton) Potter, Larry was born November 19, 1936 in New Albany, Indiana. He was a machinist and tool and die maker and a U.S. Army veteran. Larry was a member of F.O.E. Aerie 1527 in Jeffersonville, former member of Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany and an avid I.U. fan. Survivors include his son, Tony Potter; daughter, Jennifer Potter; companion of 29 years, Vera Adams; grandson, Tyler Potter; and siblings, Judy Stroud and John Potter. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 10:00 am Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. His Funeral Service and Military Honors will be 12:00 pm Thursday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
