Larry A. Ledford

LAWRENCE A. "LARRY" LEDFORD, 80, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016. He was born January 6, 1936 in Corydon, Indiana to the late Herb and Kirbie Montgomery Ledford. Larry was an Eagle scout and graduated from the University of Louisville with a B.S. in Accounting. He was retired from the Indiana State Lottery, was a self-employed accountant for 40+ years, and was a sales representative for 8 years. Needless to say, he was a huge U of L fan. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Laquita J. Leake Ledford; and a sister, Barbara Timberlake. Survivors include his children, Stephanie Crawford (Phillip Sr.), Stephen Ledford, and Shawn Ledford (Tabatha); and 5 grandchildren, Mercedes Crawford, Martel Crawford, Miranda Ledford, Hannah Ledford, and Zachary Ledford. Visitation will be 12:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Tuesday and after 9:00 am Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
