Obituary of Karson Jade Friedmeyer
Karson Jade Friedmeyer, 5 year old daughter of Joseph and Casey Coddington Friedmeyer, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Karson was a fun loving, courageous, high-spirited girl whose smile and laugh could warm the darkest situations. She was full of spunk and had so many special expressions to match each of life’s moments. She always demanded attention everywhere she went. Her legacy will live on through the people she loved and inspired. She will be forever missed. In addition to her parents, Karson is survived by her brother, Knox Friedmeyer; grandparents, Robert and Tammy Friedmeyer, Ramona Babbs, and Lawrence Coddington; great grandparents, Jerry and Ruth Bitter; aunts and uncles, Jason and Tonia Hatfield, Timothy Coddington, and Michael, Heather, Jacob, and Hannah Friedmeyer; and several cousins. Visitation will be 12 pm ~ 8 pm Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 11 am Wednesday, August 22, 2018, in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Karson to the Henryville Dollars for Scholars to fund the Karson Friedmeyer Little Bud Scholarship.
