Karen J. (Perkins) Densford

Karen Jean (Perkins) Densford, 65, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. She was born May 2, 1949 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Maynard and Virginia (Dempster) Perkins. She was a member of Graceland Baptist Church and worked as a surgical nurse at Jewish Hospital. She graduated from New Albany High School in 1967, received her LPN at Prosser, and graduated from Kentucky Baptist School of Nursing in 1983 becoming an RN. Survivors include: Daughter: Mia Cato Siblings: Margie Cissell Bruce Perkins Grandchildren: Levi and Makenna Cato and Sophia and Isabella Roy Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Monday at the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
