JOYCE ANN (ECKART) SMITH, 75, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at her residence. The daughter of the late Eddie and Ida (Townsley) Eckart, Joyce was born March 11, 1940 in Corydon, Indiana. She retired from the Pillsbury Company in 2003. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David G. Smith; grandson, Zachary D. Smith; and siblings, Donald Eckart, Hazel Eckart, and Emma Reed.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David C. and Melissa Smith; and grandson, Jordan W. Smith.
Visitation will be 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Services and burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park will be private.
