JoAnn Flowers

JoAnn Flowers, age 87 passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023. She was born on November 3, 1935 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Edward and Emma Antle Jones. JoAnn was a retired office manager and was a member of Southeast Christian Church. She was an avid gardener, loved flowers and taking care of her family and others. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Fred A. Flowers; three brothers, Jerry Jones, Bill Jones and Tommy Jones; a sister, Patricia Spitznagel. JoAnn is survived by a daughter, Janet Mathews; a sister, Linda Rowe; a brother, David Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for JoAnn will be held Friday, June 9, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral service will be Friday, June 9, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at the funeral home with entombment to follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park. Expression of sympathy are suggested to Interim Hospice.
