Jerry M. Wolfe

Jerry M. Wolfe, 76, of New Albany passed away Thursday morning February 6, 2020 at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany. Jerry was born February 14, 1943 to the late Maynard and Mabel (Bunnell) Wolfe and was preceded in death by his brother Zane Wolfe and brother-in-law Robert “Bob” Owens. He was a lifelong resident of New Albany and a member of Jacobs Chapel United Methodist Church. A retiree of Nationwide Truck Service, Jerry enjoyed bowling, baseball, fishing and many activities that his grandchildren were involved in. Jerry is survived by his wife of 54 years Susan (Owens) Wolfe, daughters, Leslie Fluhr (Butch) and Suzanne Motsinger (Jay), son, Michael Wolfe (Abby). Six grandchildren, Zane Fluhr, Owen and Emery Tanksley, Myles Motsinger, Hadley and Harper Wolfe. Sisters, Holly VanTyle (Ron), and Angela Navis (Jim), as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 3:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home chapel with private burial to follow at a later date at Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown, IN.
