Jerry L. Smith

Jerry L. Smith, 77, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away November 12, 2020 at Autumn Woods Health Campus. He was born on October 19, 1943 to the late Chester K. and Ruby M. Smith. Jerry was a retired machinist with over 35 years of service with International Harvesters as well as a realtor. He loved rebuilding automobiles and vintages cars and playing golf at all the local golf courses in Floyd and Clark Counties. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Larry Smith. Jerry is survived by his wife of 27 years, Bonnie McCartin Smith; six children, Valerie (Jim) Smith, Jeremy Smith, Cindy Waddle, Jerry (Amy) Smith Jr., Terry Bova and Sherry (Doug) Wathen; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Memorial Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street with a memorial service beginning at 4:30. Inurnment will be in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
