Janie Arden Lonidier Grant Keeler was born on June 26, 1956, in Albany, Georgia. She died in her home on Friday, February 9, 2024. She served in the United States Air Force, where she met her husband, Mark Keeler at McGuire Air Force Base. She retired from a more than 30-year career with the United States Census Bureau in 2018. Her sons, grandchildren, and great granddaughter were among the greatest source of joy and pride in her life: Nathan Grant, Andrew Keeler (Julie Singer), Adam Keeler (Aimee Keeler), Ryan Grant, Kaycee Martin (Zach), Austin Keeler, Alec Keeler, and Parker Martin. Janie enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bunco, traveling, and trying new things. She was endlessly generous with her time and friendship. She is survived by her parents, Douglas “Lonnie” Lonidier and Mary “Butch” Lonidier; siblings, Sharon Green, Charles Lonidier (Vicki), Robert Lonidier (Jolena), Bobby Green (Sharon), Gene Martin (Mary), and Pammy Bergeron. She is also survived by far too many nieces and nephews to list, all of whom she was very proud and loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Varner Lonidier; sisters, Audrey Kay Lonidier Statum Brewer and Tammy Marie Lonidier; nephew, Michael Solieu, and grandparents, Henry and Florence Lonidier and Charles and Falfa Varner.
