Janet Malone

Janet Malone, age 83, of New Albany, Indiana, returned to her Heavenly Father on July 2, 2022. Mrs. Malone was born in Washington, Indiana on July 12, 1938 to the late Harry Wade and Hursey (Byrer) Wade Hopper. Mrs. Malone was a member of Northside Christian Church, worked several years for Taylor Drugstore and enjoyed providing home-cooked meals for others. She is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves her husband of 65 years to cherish her memory, Frank Malone; children, David Malone, Paul Malone (Vickie), Lisa Faust (Butch); granddaughters, Sarah Dodds (Chris), Julie Estopinal (Andrew), Rachel Miller (Austin), Sianna Malone; great grandchildren, Bailey, Landon, and Emmett; sister, Louise Youngs; and many dear extended family and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 pm Tuesday, July 5, 2022 in the chapel of Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Mrs. Malone’s honor to Northside Christian Church in New Albany, Indiana.
