Janet Marie Gagnon

Janet Marie Gagnon, age 66, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Janet was born on December 2, 1955, to the late Paul and Lucille Kockert. She was married to her loving husband of 29 years, Dennis Edward Gagnon Sr.
Janet attended Purdue University obtaining a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics and received her MBA from Webster University. She worked as a Registered Dietician in various long-term care facilities in Indiana and Kentucky.
Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren were the highlight of her life. Janet loved to play tennis as well as scrapbooking and doing various other crafts. She was also a wonderful cook.
Along with her husband, Dennis Edward Gagnon Sr., she is survived by her children, Ann-Marie Shaffer (Steve), Dennis E. Gagnon Jr. (Renae), and Denise M. Howes (Ron); ten grandchildren, Gabrielle Gagnon, Lucas Gagnon, Natalie-Grace Gagnon, Liem Gagnon, Emarie Gagnon, Whitney Brunson, Zachary Kelton, Taylor-Ann Kelton, Mallory Kelton, and Ryan Howes; four siblings, Mike Kochert, Judy Bates, David Kochert, and Lisa Chanley.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Episcopal Church, 1015 East Main Street, New Albany, Indiana with interment to follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
