Helen J. Schy

Helen Jean Schy, age 76, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Helen was born April 19, 1945 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late William and Mary Bowling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley "Sonny" Schy; infant son, Kevin Wade Turner; and siblings, Margaret "Sissy" Santiago, Joann Bowling, Jimmy Bowling, Billie Columbia, Martha Eudean "Deanna" Craig, and Iris Fern Whisman. Helen is survived by her son, Bryan Turner; step-son, Rusty Schy (Ida); step-daughter, Darlene Wilt; grandchildren, Bryan Scott Turner, Zachary Turner, Audrey Boggess; great grandchildren, Kaitlynn Turner and Virginia Turner; 6 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. A visitation for Helen will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Helen will be laid to rest in Galena Cemetery, Galena, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Helen's memory may be made to Southern Care Hospice, New Albany, Indiana.
