Helen Louise Heustis Boyd

Helen L. Boyd, 89 years of age died Saturday September 3, 2016 at Kindred Indian Creek Nursing Home in Corydon, Indiana. She was born October 29, 1926 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Raymond and Hazel (Daily) Heustis. Helen was the former owner and operator of Holiday Hair Style in Louisville and was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher D. Foster. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, William R. Boyd; children, William E. Boyd, (Sue), Mark Boyd (Robin), Barry Lee Boyd, Terry Foster, Pat Vitiello (Ric), Kenneth J. Sprecher (Teresa), Joe Sprecher (Beverly), Betty Hart (Dennis); 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
