Elbert Lee King, 89, of New Albany, Indiana passed away April 30, 2021 at Baptist Health Floyd. He was born in Parksville, Kentucky on July 17, 1931 to the late Clarence and Effie King. He was a veteran in the United States Army and was retired from Rohm-Hass.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia A. King; two daughters, Donna Boley and Jenna Lee King; and a brother, Orless King.
He is survived by a son, Michael (Karen) King; grandchildren, Kristie (Chris) Sinsabaugh, Brandon Michael King, Stanford Wayne Paulsen, Dale Edward (Elizabeth) Paulsen and Karrie (Chris) Henthorn; several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; siblings, Christine Pike, Orville King, Doris King and Beulah Jackson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 10-2 on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
