MEERS, DONALD G., 71, died Thursday August 5, 2010 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN.
Mr. Meers was born June 22, 1939 in St. Charles, MO and was the son of Vernon H. and Corrine Meers. He was a retired vice president with Farm Credit Banks in Louisville.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Melba J. Hill Meers; sons, Mark S. Meers (Amy), Floyds Knobs, Matthew V. Meers, Jeffersonville and Mason B. Meers (Wendy), Riverview, FL; grandchildren, McKenzie and Madison Meers; and sister, Laurel Barbour (Gene) , Myrtle Beach, SC.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. His funeral Service will be held 11a.m. Tuesday at the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel. Private disposition will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
