Donald "Don" R. Diaz

Donald R. “Don” Diaz, 84 years of age, passed away at his home on November 15, 2021. He was born on December 29, 1936 in Powellton, West Virginia to the late Marshall and Ethel Diaz. Don was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Reynolds Metal in Louisville. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Diaz; and siblings, Bill Barnett, Clifford Barnett, Marshall Diaz, and Delores Houchens. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy Brooks Diaz; children, Anna Foster (Mark) and Michael Diaz (Brenda); sister, Juanita Perry (Albert); brother-in-law, Victor Singer (Sally); granddaughters, Rachel and Autumn; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.
