Diana S. (Standifer) Jacobs

Diana S. (Standifer) Jacobs, 70, departed to glory on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. The daughter of the late Col. Lee R. and Robbie Dean (Shipley) Standifer, Diana was born January 4, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio. She was an ordained minister and, along with her husband, Dr. Michael Jacobs, helped start Church On The Rock in New Albany in 1985. She was passionate about helping young people, but her family was her life. Diana was mature in spirit, but young at heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Rev. Jacob Boger. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Dr. Michael Jacobs; daughter, Jessica Boger; son, Pastor Jordan Jacobs; four grandchildren, Roman, Judah, and Justus Boger, and Natalee Jacobs; and a sister, Joyce McCutcheon (Rocky). Fellowship will be 10 am ~ 11 am on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Church On The Rock, 4224 Mel Smith Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will follow at 11 am in the church with burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, Indiana.
