Charles Wayne "Chuck" Pittman

CHARLES WAYNE "CHUCK" PITTMAN, 64 years of age, died Wednesday November 28th, 2012 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN. Charles was born August 18th, 1948 in Danville, KY. to the late Charles William and Irene Hogue Pittman. He was a retired Staff Sargent (E-7) unit administrator with the U.S. Army and a veteran of the Viet-Nam War. He was a member of American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post #28, and attended the First Southern Baptist Church in Clarksville, IN. Charles loved people, his family and especially his beloved dog Bailey. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include: Son: Jason Pittman Grandson: Caleb Pittman both of North Carolina Sister: Elaine Sheets and husband Mike Clarksville, IN Best Friend: Mark Zimmerman Georgetown, IN Nieces: Shellie Stewart and husband Lonnie Sherri Poppelwell and husband Rodney Cindy Sheets all Clarksville, IN Beloved Pet: Bailey Reception of family and friends will be from 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Friday and after 10:00 am Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral service will be 1:00 pm Saturday December 1st, at the Kraft Spring St. Chapel.
