Carl Lorenzo Hill

Carl Lorenzo Hill, 54 years of age departed this life on Tuesday January 3rd 2012. Carl was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 10th 1952 to the late Sam and Emma Lee Hill. He attended Crane High School in Chicago and accepted Christ at River Falls Assembly of God Church in Clarksville. He was a devoted employee of Lockard’s Body Shop for the last 10 years. He was preceded in death by his son, Samuel Pryor; sister, Shirley Hollister; and two brothers, James Hill and Samuel Hill, Jr.

Carl Hill, Jr. (Carolyn), Larry Pryor, all of Chicago, and Ashley Hodge of Clarksville; 7 sisters and brothers, Evelyn Holloway of Birmingham, Alabama, Samuel Hill (Paulette), Dorothy Spencer, Robert Hill (Stephanie), all of Chicago, Brenda Stone (Lewis), Cassandra Johnson, and his twin sister Carolyn Johnson, of Clarksville; 31 Grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends including life-long friend Larry Lucas.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am ~ 2:00 pm Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Saturday in the Kraft Chapel with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana
