Cara L. (Harmon) Kochert

CARA L. (HARMON) KOCHERT, 71, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016. She was born November 11, 1944 in Santa Monica, California to the late William and Ermil (Byerly) Harmon. Cara was a homemaker, a talented embroiderer, taught ceramics at her home, enjoyed flower gardening, and was a collector of various items, especially Lenox flowers. However, none of those activities could compare to the love she had for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were her everything. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Kochert, in 2006.

Survivors include her daughter, Angela Kochert; sons, Jeffrey (Kimberly), Scott, and Derek Kochert; brother, Bill Harmon; sister, Brenda Eskelson; grandchildren, Ashley, Abigail, and Hilary; and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, July 22, 2016 and after 10:00 am Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be celebrated at 12:00 pm Saturday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
