Beverly June Thompson, 71, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at University of Louisville Hospital. Beverly was born in New Albany, Indiana on June 23, 1951 to the late Marvin E. and Maudie Pearl Thompson. She had a love for children and spent many years in childcare, talking to friends and family on the phone, puzzles and word searches. Throughout her life she worked many years at Rauch Inc. and Dairy Queen.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings, Ernest Ray Thompson, James (Marilyn) Thompson, Rondal O. Thompson, Bernice (Gary) Byers, Joyce (Terry) Elder, Betty Huffman and Edra Mae Thompson; sister-in-law, Harriett Thompson; and brother-in-law, Mike Chandler.
She is survived siblings, Edgar Clay Thompson (Donna), Floyd Thompson and Barbara Chandler; sister-in-law, Kay Thompson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until Noon on Saturday, January 7, 2022, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana with her funeral service beginning at Noon. Entombment will follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
