It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Natalie passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side on the morning of Tuesday, May 9, 2017.
Natalie will be sadly missed by her daughter Valerie (Wes), and sons Curtis and Craig; her grandchildren Amber, Darren (Laura), Kendall (Eric), Scott (Katie), Kayla (Richard), and Braeden; her great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Sydney, Jaxon, and Emily; her dear friends Thelma and Kay, her roommate Joyce and family; and her sister-in-law Diane. She is predeceased by her husband Yves and her mother Mary.
Natalie was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on October 15, 1933. She grew up in the North End of Winnipeg as an only child. She was a devoted mother of three and had a successful career in sales. Natalie had a love for fashion and people, which aided her career in sales. She always put the needs of others before hers. Natalie was a very social person with many friends. She never forgot a birthday and always had a birthday card on hand. Later in her life, Natalie enjoyed being a grandmother and travelling to Arizona with her late husband Yves every winter.
Natalie always took pride in her appearance and looked forward to her weekly visit with her hairstylist Carilee.
Natalie was a vibrant woman who was always smiling and had a positive outlook on life. She was always very kind and outgoing. You couldn’t help but be in a good mood when you were around her. Natalie will forever be remembered as a happy, loving, and beautiful woman.
The family would like to thank West Park Manor Personal Care Home for their compassionate and loving care, and the Winnipeg Paramedics for their support and guidance.
The Service for Natalie will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers if desired, donations in Natalie’s memory may be made to West Park Manor.
