John Zachozy

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, John Zachozy, on Wednesday, December 7, 2011. John was predeceased by his loving wife, Nellie (2006). John is lovingly survived by his daughter Helen (Walter) Weppler, grandchildren Wade (Jen), Rhonda (Richard), Janelle (Dave) and great-granddaughter Ada. Also left to cherish his memory are his brother Mike (Teenie), brothers-in-law Joe, Bill (Ruth), sisters-in-law Jennie, Minnie and Marjorie, and numerous nieces and nephews. John was a very hard-working and conscientious person, always willing to help family, friends and neighbours. Our sincere appreciation to all the wonderful staff at Concordia Place. Their care and support was outstanding. We would also like to thank the many family members, friends and neighbours for the kindness and help we received. In accordance with John's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home, urn placement to follow in Holy Angel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations can be made to the charity of one's choice.
