He leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 56 years Olive (née Gariepy) and sons Ronald (Sheila) and their children, Richard and Jeffrey; Brian (Lucille) and his children Nicole, Blake and stepson Joseph; daughter Donna (Shaun) and their children Taylor and Michael; brothers-in-law Fern Gariepy (Evelyn), Denis Gariepy (Marlene) and Rev. His family was of utmost importance and he loved his six grandchildren dearly.
In his younger days, Denis loved to golf, bowl, bicycle riding and dance.

Denis was a generous man and continuously donated money to various charities. He was also an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus.
The family wishes to thank the WRHA Palliative Care program for their assistance and compassion.
