While resting peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on May 18, 2010 Annette Zdebiak (née Tytgat) of Winnipeg was called home by our Lord at the age of 70.
Annette was predeceased by her loving husband Walter Zdebiak, her parents Emile and Marguerite Tytgat and her sister Gena Tytgat. Left behind to cherish her love, friendship and a lifetime of memories are her son Rodney (Wendy), sisters Hélène (Léo) Pelland and Yvonne (Gilbert) Laberge, brothers Albert (Dorothy) Tytgat and Roger (Nicole) Tytgat, and a large and loving circle of relatives and friends.
Annette was born in St. Boniface in 1940, but lived with her family in Otterburne until 1953 when her family moved to St. Boniface. Annette married her beloved Walter in 1961. In addition to caring for her family Annette enjoyed her career as a Data Entry Operator working with companies including United Grain Growers and Cargill Grain Limited until her retirement in 1984.
Annette lived a full, enriched and vibrant life, serving as a Catechism Teacher in her church, bowling with the church league, playing cards with seniors, exercising with friends at the gym and traveling with her family. She will always be remembered for her warmth, charity, patience and ability to turn strangers into fast friends.

Cremation has taken place. Prayers will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 ave de la Cathédrale, Winnipeg with Fr. Marcel Damphousse presiding. Interment will take place in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of the Intensive and Coronary Care Units at the St. Boniface Hospital for their dedication, care and efforts.
