Peacefully on December 31st, 2022, Alison passed away at Riverview Health Centre to join her Mother and Father in heaven.
Alison was born on May 24, 1960 in Winnipeg to James and Ruth Kirkland. She attended Polson School, then was employed with WASO (Work and Social Opportunities) for over 30 years.
Ali will be missed by her brothers Jim (Debbie) Kirkland and Les (Leanne) Kirkland, nieces, and cousins.
The family would like to sincerely thank Alison’s many caregivers over the years and especially to the caring staff at Salvation Army-Community Ventures (at Macaulay Cres. and River Ridge II)
A Celebration of Alison’s life will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, January 6, 2023 at The Salvation Army Living Hope Community Church, 51 Morrow Avenue, Winnipeg.
