Sam Ganaden Ochoco

Sam was born on August 5, 1940 in Manila, Philippines. He was a loving husband to Gabina, loving father to Elias, Ismael, Margarita and Rachel. A caring grandfather to Isabelle, Sophia, Adan, Ismael, Jaeden, Jacob, Alaina, Mia and Elian. Sam loved spending time with his family and enjoyed serving his church community at Bonita Valley as security and usher. He proudly served as a U.S. Marine for 26 years then worked another 22 years as a courier service before retiring. He was a provider, exemplary father and loyal friend. His strong desire to serve God and to learn about the Bible paved his way to heaven.

Sam was diagnosed with B cell lymphoma on August 2023 and endured 2 rounds of chemo. His body got weaker but his faith only got stronger. Sam decided to let God and life take its course. Sam was at peace and rejoiced in the presence of the Holy Spirit at his residence with family and friends. His last words before his health declined were he was ready to go be with his mom and dad in Heaven. As Sam wishes his honorable burial ceremony will be close to them.
