She was born in Burgos, La Union, Philippines on June 11, 1937.
She was member of Bible Baptist Church and had a passion for spreading the Word of God.
She was survived by her husband of 60 years, Adriano Tan Kalaw, nine children: Cery, Nory, Loreta, Carina, Tessie, Glory, Raffy, Hennie and Noel; 27 grandchildren: Marius, Joanna, Marc, Akira, Yumika, Jorika, Carlo, Ryan, Paola, Andrea, Jun-Jun, Kenneth, Rosette, Danica, Danielle, Denzel, Gika, Rika, Samuela, Amber, Pamela, John, Christian, Eugene, Jerome, Nicole and Sam; two great-granchildren, Paul and Zoey Rose.
She was the middle of 3 siblings. Rosa Guillao, her eldest sister and Paulino Ettie her younger brother are both deceased.
Visitation from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm and
Memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel, 607 National City Blvd., National City CA 91950.
The family is honoring her wishes to be brought back to her native land, the Philippines.
Interment will be held at the Manila Memorial Park Dasmarinas, Cavite.
