Wanda J. Toombs

A member of Hendersonville Freewill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 30 years; she enjoyed sewing, making and collecting dolls, family time and was an avid shopper.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 58 years, James "Jimmy" Tombs; children, Jill West and Tony Toombs; sister Teresa (Chip) Parson; brother, Hugh (Sherry) Fults; grandchildren, Tucker Fox, Abigail West; great-grandson, James Ryan Fox.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 10:00 Saturday, August 10, 2019 in the chapel of Eastland Funeral Home with Bro. Reid Wilkerson and Bro. Eddie Hodges officiating. Entombment will follow in the Woodlawn Cross Mausoleum.

Wanda J. Toombs, age 77, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019. She was born Friday, September 19, 1941 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Hugh and Mildred Richardson Fults.
