Shirlene Ann Bauch

Shirlene Ann Bauch, age 83, was born in Ashland, the daughter of the late Marvin and Anne Anderson. She graduated from Ashland High school in 1957 and attended Wisconsin State University. She married Jerry Bauch, and they made their first home in Racine. They lived in Florida and Georgia with their three young children until their final move to Nashville. She earned a master’s degree and spent the next 24 years teaching.

Many memorable summers were spent at the family cabin in Mellen. She was the family genealogist tracing their Swedish ancestry, and loved stained glass painting, gardening and especially cooking.

She died on February 17th after a courageous battle with cancer.

Preceded in death by her husband Jerry, and her son Randy Bauch (LeighAnn). Survived by her son Steve (Patricia) and daughter Tracy Glascoe (David), and four special grandchildren: Austin Glascoe, Olivia Glascoe, Preston Bauch, and Kelsey Bauch. She is also survived by her sister Susan Kornberger, and brother Jerry Anderson (Donna).

There will be a service in March in Nashville and the family is planning a pilgrimage to Loon Lake in July for burial of ashes.
