Mr. Hollis was born in Nashville, TN, on March 11, 1933, the son of the late Amos Hollis and Avery Sweatman Hollis. He served in the United States Navy on the USS Hancock during the Korean War. Mr. Hollis retired from Kroger as a Store Manager and was an avid golfer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hollis was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Hollis and brothers and sisters.
Survivors include daughter, Teresa and son, Joseph Hollis (Lisa).
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at ten o’clock, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall.
Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Monday from three o’clock until seven o’clock at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
