Hunter, Ruth Helen Johnson age 85 of Nashville passed away Monday, March 9, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.J. and Minnie Johnson; husband, Vaughn S. Hunter; brothers, Talmadge Johnson, Forrest Johnson; sister, Robbie Brown. Survived by daughters, Carol Allen, Lisa Coutras (Eddie); sons, Vaughn S. Hunter, Jr. (Tonya), Phillip A. Hunter (Penny); brother, James Johnson; grandchildren, Vaughn S. Hunter III, Brittany Hunter, Lauren Harrison, Rachel Hunter, Ashley Hunter, Amy Hunter; great-grandchildren, Eli Hunter, Anna Harrison, Aurora Hunter; numerous nieces and nephews; several step great-grandchildren. Family and friends will gather Thursday, March 12, 2015 from four o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening and also on Friday, March 13, 2015 from eleven o’clock until the funeral service at one o’clock at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Vaughn S. Hunter III, Eddie Coutras, Larry Johnson, Patrick Johnson, G.W. Hunter, Jr., Michael Hunter and honorary pallbearer, Kenneth Brown.
