Robert Eugene Spears, passed away on October 7th, 2013 at the age of 79. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Martha Spears; daughter, Lisa (Harold) Sisco; sons, Robert and Michael Spears; granddaughter Ashley Reynolds; sisters Jane (Jesse) Teal, Carol (Jim) Braswell. Robert served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years. He was a member of the Hendersonville Church of Christ. Honorary pallbearers are Roy Chaffin and Joshua Teal; active pallbearers are family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted by Bro. Larry Graham on Thursday, October 10th at one o’clock in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Visitation with family and friends Wednesday from one o’clock until eight o’clock at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Missions Fund at Hendersonville Church of Christ.
