Connie, Constance, I just heard from a former co-worker that Rita had passed.  I am so deeply sorry to hear this.  I worked with Rita for 5 years at the University of TN.  She was always such a bright and wonderful person to work with and you both were the loves of her life. May God be with you both through this terrible family loss.

   Thinking of you with loving and comforting thoughts as you walk through these days of sorrow and loss.  When the ones we love leave this life, our memories and love will always carry on..."And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus".  Shared lots of laughs with Rita at the "PEAY".  I even remember when the Rita/Connie romance began!

Though we had spoken only a handful of times, I knew from those brief talks that she was a special person. Great to talk to, happy and positive, and with a heart big enough to care about even those she did not know well -- that is what I will remember about Rita. I am truly, truly saddened and my heart is heavy to know that she is no longer with us.

Connie Mack and Constance my heart goes out to you.  I am mindful of the times that we have shared together, clebrating the birth of our daughters, attending birth day parties, and watching our children grow. I will always cherish Rita's freindship.
