Richard Marvin Byrd, age 69, of Lebanon, Tennessee passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, in Nashville, Tennessee. Richard was born to the late Marvin Brooks and Kathryn (Pilkinton) Byrd on January 23, 1953 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Richard was a member of the Episcopal Church of The Epiphany of Lebanon, Tennessee and was a Associate Member of the American Guild of Organists.. Richard enjoyed spending time with the people of Holy Trinity Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Richard enjoyed working in the service industry for most of his life. Richards in his spare time liked to listen to and play classical music.
Richard was survived by his nephew, Scott (Lisa) Greer; great nieces, Haylee and Raygan; nephew, Waggoner.
Along with his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Joyce Byrd Greer.
A Gathering of Family and Friend will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home at 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, Tennessee.
