I had the pleasure of getting to know Mona last year when she was the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Riverview Psychiatric Recovery Center in Augusta Maine. She was such an inspiration and a joy to talk with with. She was a wise mind with lots of fascinating stories. Mona and Whitney Simmons Wormer and I were buddies from VUSN going way back, and we had a tradition of meeting for dinner at Xmas and again in the summer for years...I will miss Mona's parrot tales, her wry humor, her wide heart.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Ramona. She was a wonderful psychiatric nurse who was kind and respectful to all.

It has been an honor and a pleasure to have known Mona. We shared many laughs throughout the years, starting at the Parthenon when I was fortunate to have been pared with her to teach a Belmont student rotation. After that, we became friends, sharing life. I will miss you, Mona.
