She was born on August 24 1940 in Nashville, Tn. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Alton Coleman; mother, Lillian Mae Anderson Coleman; brothers, Wade Coleman,Michael Coleman,Ricky Coleman; sisters, Regina Gail Coleman Johnson and Betty Jane Coleman Russell. She is survived by brother, William (Janet) Coleman; sister, Linda K (Johnny) Turnbo and a host of nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Cumberland High School in 1960. She went on to be a ER Nurse at Vanderbilt Hospital for 10 and half years. She loved bird watching, reading and working cross word puzzles. She will be missed by many.
A Gathering of Family and Friends for Rachel will be held Friday, September 9, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM.
