Patsy "Pat aka Nana" Corrine Patterson

Patsy "Pat aka Nana" Corrine Patterson, age 76, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022. She was born in Boyle County, Kentucky to the late, Veda Conner Lewis and Phillip Conner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Patterson; sisters, Dorothy Dye, Margaret Holt, Edith "Red" Dean; brother-in-laws, Waymen Dye, Jasper Dye and Terry Ross.

Pat is survived by her daughters, Vickie (Scott Henrikson) Watts, Rhonda (Brian) Hingst and Kim Reynolds; grandchildren, Jonathon Watts, Chloe Watts, Aleia Hingst, Makenzie (Noah) Turner and Lexie Reynolds; great-grandson, Easton Turner; sisters, Betty Dye, Ada (Robert) Hafley and Mary Ross; brother -in-law, Tommy Dean and a host of nieces and nephews and her best friend, Cocoa.

Pat loved the Lord, she was saved at the age of 7, and recanted the memory vividly. She was a faithful member of Pilgram Baptist Church for over 30 years. She started attending Franklin Road Baptist Church when she was unable to drive to her home church. In her final days, she would often say, "don't cry for me, I am going to see Jesus."

Pat was a selfless spirit who put her family's needs before her own. She was the caretaker, who always did the right thing, by showing an outpouring of love. Pat was not only a mother, daughter, sister and aunt, she was a delight to those who met her. Her passions, were being a southern lady, laughing and spending time with her girls, embracing the beauty of the moon in the sky, enjoying her tv and movies. She had her favorite movie qoutes, " You is kind, You is Smart, You is important" from The Help, " Hit her, hit her hard... Ouiser Boudreaux" and "you know I love you more than my luggage, both from Steel Magnolis.

Pat was free spirted and concise with her words. She wanted her legacy to be how she impacted the lives of others with kindness and love. Pat was co-owner with her girls of Veda's Flowers and Gifts (a shop named in her mother's honor), which brought her joy.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from eleven o'clock in the morning until two-thirty in the afternoon on Friday, November 25, 2022, at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at two-thirty in the afternoon on Friday, November 25, 2022 in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
