Nell Rose Baird, age 84, of Rutherford County, Tennessee passed away on Friday, November 10th, 2023. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 15th, 1938. She graduated from David Lipscomb High School. She married Julius Paige Baird on June 9th,1957 in Nashville, Tennessee. He precedes her in death. Nell was a hard worker, avid runner and loved taking care of her family. She is survived by her children, Neta Paige Baird (Tonya Baird) and Lester B. Baird; siblings, Shirley Miller; Kay Dill; abd George Beard; as well as, many nieces and nephews.
A Gathering of Family and Friends for Nell will be held Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. Gathering will resume on Thursday, November 16th, 2023 from 9:30am to 11:30am, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A Celebration of Life Service will occur Thursday, November 16th, 2023 at 11:30am, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. Burial to follow on Thursday, November 16th, 2023 in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
